Homily for Wednesday of the Sixth Week of Easter
“God has overlooked the times of ignorance, but now he demands that all people everywhere repent because he has established a day on which he will 'judge the world.’” (Acts 17:15, 22—18:1). And this judgment will be revealed to us by God’s Spirit of truth (John 16:12-15).
Usually, the first instance of Gods judgment is at our death. It’s called the particular judgment. But since we are in times of confusion and ignorance God’s mercy will allow for an act of judgment prior to our death.
In the 16th century the martyr St. Edmund Campion, spoke of “a great day that would reveal all people’s consciences,” a coming “day of enlightenment”. He exclaimed it be a day in which God will supernaturally illuminate the conscience of every man, woman, and child on earth. Each person would momentarily see the state of their soul through God’s eyes and realize the truth of His existence.
We know that there are stacks of prophesies, almost identical, about the illumination of conscience. Whether from Sr Faustina, Anna Marie Taigi or Conchita from Garabandal they all speak of humanity universally having its truth revealed as judged by God.
Jacinta from Garabandal had said: "The warning is something that is first seen in the air, everywhere in the world and immediately is transmitted into the interior of our souls. It will last for a very little time, but it will seem a very long time because of its effect within us. It will be for the good of our souls, in order to see in ourselves our conscience... the good that we have failed to do, and the bad that we have done.”
Scripture refers to it in the opening of the 6th seal where an event occurs that is so grand that every person on earth attempts to hide from the phenomenon they are witnessing.
Here is another vision from a seer called Jennifer as she presented it to St JPII:
When I look up I see Jesus bleeding on the cross and people are falling to their knees. Jesus then tells me, “They will see their soul as I see it.” I can see the wounds so clearly on Jesus and Jesus then says, “They will see each wound they have added to My Most Sacred Heart.” To the left I see the Blessed Mother weeping and then Jesus speaks to me again and says, “Prepare, prepare now for the time is soon approaching. My child, pray for the many souls who will perish because of their selfish and sinful ways.” As I look up I see the drops of blood falling from Jesus and hitting the earth. I see millions of people from nations from all lands. Many seemed confused as they were looking up toward the sky. Jesus says, “They are in search of light for it should not be a time of darkness, yet it is the darkness of sin that covers this earth and the only light will be that of which I come with, for mankind does not realize the awakening that is about to be bestowed upon him. This will be the greatest purification since the beginning of creation.“
From the signs of our times we know that this will happen shortly, not immediately. Our Lady said that the Warning would come when conditions were at their worst.
Postscript: If you want to prepare for what is to come – regularly confess your sins and receive communion as often as possible.
